Select tier, enchant, and item family. The calculator prices materials and journals against live city markets, applies craft-city resource return rate (specialty match and focus), and ranks silver profit after market tax assumptions from your settings.

Does craft city matter more than item tier?

For RRR, yes — return rate depends on craft city and whether the item matches that city’s crafting specialty (plus focus), not on tier alone. The same specialty line in one city shares one RRR band.

Are journals included in crafting profit?

When enabled in your profile, journal credit reduces effective craft cost. Empty-to-full journal paths are also covered on the Island planner for laborer workflows.
